that the Council of the City of Salem
at its regular meeting on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 114 N. Broad Street, in the City of Salem, Virginia, will hold a public hearing, pursuant to Sections 15.2-2204 and 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, to consider approval of the following requests relative to the CODE OF THE CITY OF SALEM, VIRGINIA:
1.Hold public hearing to consider the request of Salem Montessori School, Inc., property owner, for rezoning the property at 112 Corporate Boulevard (Tax Map # 148-1-2.2) from RSF Residential Single-Family District and BCD, Business Commerce District with conditions to RSF Residential Single-Family District.
2.Hold public hearing to consider the request of Salem Montessori School, Inc., property owner, to revise the Special Exception Permit approved February 28, 2011, to allow the construction of an educational facility, primary/secondary on the property located at 112 Corporate Boulevard, (Tax Map # 148-1-2.2).
Copies of the proposed plans, ordinances or amendments may be examined in the Office of Community Development, 21 South Bruffey Street, Salem, Virginia.
At said hearing, parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard relative to the said requests.
