Pursuant to Section 22.1-29.1 of the Code of Virginia, as amended to date, notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Salem will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., October 14, 2019, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 114 North Broad Street, Salem, Virginia, to receive views of citizens within the Salem School District regarding an appointment to fill the expiring terms of two members of the City of Salem School Board. All candidates seeking appointment to the City of Salem School Board must apply in writing with résumés. Candidates may be interviewed individually by City Council.
