BAKER, Margaret L.
Margaret L. Baker, 93, of Troutville passed away Tuesday January 10, 2017.
Her husband, Leslie G. Baker Jr.; parents, Asa and Sallie Looney, sisters, Mary, Edna, and Ruth; brothers, Aubrey and William preceded her.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane Blake; granddaughters, Kimberley Garrison and husband Rob, Pamela Fringer and husband Kevin; great-grandson, Quinton Smith, all of Troutville.
Memorials may be sent to the League for Animal Protection of Fincastle in her name.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday January 14, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Irvin Glover officiating. Friends may send their condolences to the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com. Arrangements were handled by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory.
EUBANK, Earl L.
Earl Lewis Eubank, 45, of Buchanan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 27, 2017.
Earl was born on February 17, 1971 in Roanoke. He graduated from James River High School in 1989 and had been employed by Roanoke Cement for over 26 years. He loved hunting, softball, and coaching sports. Earl loved seeing his daughters swing a bat, steal a base, wear his No. 33, and shoot a three-pointer. He also enjoyed taking the boys hunting, telling them a joke or funny story and watching the Dallas Cowboys or the Oklahoma Sooners play football.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Lee Eubank Sr.; twin brother, Lester Lee Eubank Jr.; aunts, Violet Jane Armstrong and Stella Cary Kidd; and uncle, Jordan Paris (Bud) Cary.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Alphin Eubank; daughters, Brenna Danielle Eubank and Karlee Marie Eubank; stepsons, William Thomas Fowler, Jacob Oliver Fowler, and Andrew Lloyd Fowler, all of Buchanan; mother, Gladys Cary Eubank; sister, Emily Gale Eubank; aunts, Dorothy L. Cary and Myrtle Deane Cary, all of Fincastle; and many loving family members and several loyal and true friends of many years.

HATCHER, Clayton E.
Clayton Eugene (Geneboy) Hatcher, 82, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2017.
He was a longtime member and Deacon of Troutville Baptist Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and retired from Magic City Ford. Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Jo Hatcher; his parents, Alvin and Goldie Hatcher; brother, Alvin (Sonny) Hatcher; two sisters, Mildred Leffel and Joann Hatcher.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Margaret Thompson; special friends, Sherry and Lee Mayhew, and Lauren (Babycake) Mayhew; niece, Roxanne LaPradd and husband, Gordon and their twin sons, Dunn and Dale; brother-in-law, Don Scott and wife, Phyllis; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, at Troutville Baptist Church with Pastor Carol Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the U.S. Air Force and the DAV. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey’s East Chapel. MANN, Darla C.
Darla Campbell Mann, 53, of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Dora Campbell; and brothers, Stephen and Kevin Campbell.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Todd Mann; stepsons, Ryan, Jarret, and Jacob Mann; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Daniel Robtison; special aunt and uncle, Pat and J.R. Blanton; nephews, David Alexander and wife, Amy; Travess and Joseph Hatcher; and niece Amber Robtison.

Warren “Wissy” Wissemann, 81, of Botetourt died Saturday, January 28, 2017.
He was born March 6, 1935, a son of the late Henry C. Wissemann and Mary A. Wissemann. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wissemann.
Surviving him are his wife of 52 years, Susan Wissemann; children, Meredith Failla (Joseph) and Christopher Wissemann (Carla); five grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Brian, Brianna and Bridgette.
Burial will be at a later date in Brooklyn, New York. Rader Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
