The Old Dominion Athletic Conference Field Hockey tournament will begin next Tuesday, November 4, at home sites. At press time Roanoke College was hoping to make the field.
The Maroons are on the bubble this week with a 3-3 conference record and a 5-10 record overall. Roanoke was scheduled to play at the University of Lynchburg on Wednesday, then go to Ashland Saturday to wrap up the regular season against Randolph-Macon.
The RC women helped their cause last Saturday with a 2-0 win over Virginia Wesleyan at Kerr Stadium in Salem. Kaitlyn Robertson scored both goals for the Maroons, the first one assisted by Corinne Orlando.
If the Maroons make the tournament they would open on the road next Tuesday.
