The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged April 7–13. Arrest indicates an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

April 7 – Henry A. Blankenship, 36, DUI; and Kaelep M. Barnes, 26, carrying a concealed weapon.

April 8 – Sheila A. Johnson, 48, domestic assault and battery

April 9 – Jon C. Butler, 41, possession of firearm by convicted felon, threatening-brandishing

April 11 – Rebecca J. Claussen, 43, domestic assault and battery; Craig M. Pest, 47, domestic assault and battery; and Douglas S. Westmoreland, 31, violation of probation

April 12 – Jonathan L. Bryant, 36, public intoxication

April 13 – Anthony E. Mitchell, 42, domestic assault and battery
