The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between November 21-27 Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

November 21 – David E. Gaines, 46, public intoxication; Heather A. Miller, 29, failure to appear; Heather L. Fink, 28, grand larceny, possession of marijuana; Benjamin A. Hicks, 32, failure to appear; Michael S. Murphy, 41, public intoxication

November 23 – Amanda D. Harris, 35, violation of a protective order

November 24 – Rita M. Bailey, 52, domestic assault and battery, violation of a protective order; Paul J. Landsdown, 61, driving under the influence; Michael D. Mathena, 54, domestic assault and battery, interdicted person

November 25 – Charles R. Harris Jr., 21, public intoxication

November 26 – Jason C. Dickerson, 38, contempt of court; Jean E. Wright, 45, 3 charges of neglect; Roger A. Craig, 29, 3 charges of neglect; Russell C. Dodgion, 64, shoplifting

November 27 – Jackie W. Vasher, 33, arson, 5 charges of attempted malicious wounding by fire

Also reported were the following felonies:

November 24 – Burglary, 700 block of Bowman Avenue

November 25 – Robbery, 300 block of Wildwood Road; grand larceny, 1300 block of E. Main Street

November 26 – Neglect, 1300 block of E. Main Street;

November 27 – Arson, 1700 block of E. Main Street
