The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged July 10-23. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

July 10 – Matthew B. Woolwine, 41, contempt of court; Larry M. Woolwine, 68, contempt of court; and Cole M. Taylor, 25, DUI

July 11 – Derek W. Manspile, 18, contributing to the delinquency of minor; Delilah D. Nolen-Cooper, 18, credit card theft, illegal use of credit cards; and Jesse P. Sarver, 23, credit card theft, illegal use of credit cards

July 12 – Samantha M. Webb, 25, possession of marijuana; Desmond A. Nolen, 22, grand larceny; Shawn A. Childress, 47, contributing to delinquency of minor; Kyle M. Hanna, 38, domestic assault and battery, possession of marijuana; and Tara L. Jones, 37, DUI

July 13 – Travor L. Buzzard, 19, shoplifting, contributing to delinquency of minor; Charles A. Chadd, 19, shoplifting, contributing to delinquency of minor; James A. Brooks, 38, aggravated domestic assault and battery; Ethan Q. Cundiff, 20, DUI, illegal possession of alcohol; and Michael R. Scaggs, 35, failure to appear

July 14 – Rhonda S. Williams, 38, domestic assault and battery; and Nieves Maritza, 25, DUI

July 15 – Joel L. Rock, 50, public intoxication; Carl D. Ratcliffe, 35, public intoxication; Deanna M. Shotto, 43, public intoxication, assault on police offer; and Craig M. Prest, 45, public intoxication

July 16 – Charlene M. Saplak, 29, failure to appear; Stephen R. Straub, 31, shoplifting; and Christopher A. Johnson, 50, violation of probation

July 17 – Paul E. Ames, 46, failure to appear; Henry H. Holiday III, 58, failure to appear; Janet M. Henley, 64, domestic assault and battery; Tosha D. Rowlett, 38, contempt of court

July 18 – Denise A. Schneider, 29, assault and battery; Georganna Riganti, 30, criminal trespass; Douglas S. Westmoreland, 29, public intoxication; Robin R. Hall, 41, embezzlement

July 20 – Shanika N. Hale, 31, failure to appear; Jennifer F. Shepherd, 39, property damage; Robert C. Sherertz, 37, violation of probation; Maynard L. Law, 56, violation of probation, providing false name to police; Kristopher J. Teaford, 30, public intoxication; Sirus A. Hasan, 58, public intoxication; James L. Garst, 63, violation of probation

July 21 – Jordan M. Hickman, 22, possession of marijuana; Billy J. Duncan, 34, criminal trespass, burglary, property damage; Noah C. Wilkins, 18, possession of marijuana, illegal possession of alcohol; Lynn F. Asbury, 60, criminal trespass;

July 23 – Eric X. Erving, 18, disorderly conduct; Quinton O. Hurt, 23, domestic assault and battery

 

Also reported were the following felonies:

July 17 – Forgery, 1900 block of Electric Road

July 18 – Grand larceny, 700 block of Crystal Drive

July 19 – Illegal use of credit cards, 1800 block of W. Main Street

July 20 – Robbery, 2000 block of Roanoke Boulevard

July 21 – Burglary, 0 block of McDivitt Road

July 23 – illegal use of credit cards, 1800 block of W. Main Street
