The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between April 18-24. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

April 19 – Angela M. Tincher, 42, public intoxication; Zachary L. Smith, 20, failure to appear; Kathryn G. Clements-Lang, 43, shoplifting; Brittany N. Smith, 31, embezzlement
April 20 – Tyree T. Hodo, 24, petit larceny; Michael W. Reese, 36, shoplifting, public intoxication; Rebecca L. Rhodes, 48, possession of controlled substances, public intoxication
April 21 – Joseph A. Baldwin, 30, failure to appear; Ryan A. Lewis, 29, possession of marijuana; James D. Caruso, 18, aggravated sexual assault, object sexual penetration
April 22 – Crystal M. Westmoreland, 29, contributing to the delinquency of a minor; Shantana K. Lewis, 28, grand larceny, credit card theft; Robert A. Gray, 49, possession of marijuana; Michael W. Reese, 36, public intoxication; David N. Gleaton, 22, excessive noise; Robert H. Schaufler, 21, excessive noise

April 23 – Aggravated assault, 500 block of Bowman Avenue; two non-residential burglaries, 1100 block of Electric Road
April 24 – Illegal use of credit cards, 800 block of W. Main Street; grand larceny, 2600 block of Leemount Street
