The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged July 14–27. Arrest indicates an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

July 14 – Daniel C. Holloway, 23, assault and battery, resisting arrest
July 15 – Justin C. Thomason, 28, robbery, assault and battery; and Jaylan A. Holland, 19, failure to appear.
July 16 – Frank A. Wilcher, 26, robbery; Jamey E. Patterson, 52, violation of probation; Zane H. Reed, 33, domestic assault and battery; Suzanne E. Austin, 37, violation of probation; Daniel J. Hartberger, 40, public intoxication; Hernandez D. Dagoberto, 36, DUI; and James E. Davis V, 27, domestic assault and battery.
July 17 – Jane A. Hannah, 56, public intoxication
July 18 – Allison L. Guynn, 42, public intoxication
July 19 – Darrell L. Witcher, 57, assault and battery; Deanna N. Wellons, 33, assault on police officer; Craig M. Prest, 47, domestic assault and battery; Ismeal N. Perez, 18, domestic assault and battery, damage property.
July 20 – Jarrod L. Monk, 35, possession of controlled substance; Zachary L. Hannah, 35, failure to appear.
July 21 – Dustin M. Bryant, 36, failure to appear; Frank A. Wilcher, 26, possession of controlled substance; Elizabeth A. Keith, 29, DUI; and Corey C. Kneeland, 31, public intoxication.
July 22 – Brian H. Tice, 38, failure to appear; Kimberly R. Shockley, 31, failure to appear; Billy J. Watts, 41, contempt of court; Robert C. Sherertz, 39, violation of probation; John P. Ciafardini, 24, contempt of court; and Michael J. Reeser, 62, violation of protective order.
