Police Report – March 16th, 2017

The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between March 7-13. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of juveniles under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

March 7 – Melissa A. Casey, 43, unauthorized use of a vehicle, grand larceny; Alvin L. Howard, 46, violation of probation; Michael W. Reese, 36, public intoxication; Kimberly D. Switzer, 40, shoplifting

March 8 – Ethan V. Rice, 20, contempt of court; Brittany K. Wilson, 26, violation of probation; Stone W. Ham, 21, possession of a controlled substance

March 9 – Heather N. Chandler, 41, five charges of shoplifting; Joseph L. Novia, 41, possession of marijuana; David C. Sperry, 45, public intoxication; Gregory A. Graham, 53, failure to appear; Bruce E. Worrell, 56, robbery; Ashley K. Hill, 26, driving under the influence; Veronica N. Toller, 28, petit larceny

March 10 – Stephen L. McBride Jr., 31, violation of probation; David C. Sperry, 31, public intoxication, criminal trespassing

March 11 – Noah M. Sibley, 24, public intoxication; Tyrik D. Merchant, 20, contributing to the delinquency of a minor; Anthony O. Cotton Jr., 21, contributing to the delinquency of a minor

March 12 – Michael W. Reese, 36, public intoxication

March 13 – Gabriella M. Koziol, 19, possession of marijuana; Keaton B. Hackworth, 19, possession of marijuana; Donnoye D. Foster, 23, possession of marijuana; Kevin N. Lavender, 52, shoplifting

Also reported were the following felonies:

March 7 – Grand larceny, 1900 block of Braeburn Drive; bad checks, 200 block of Horner Lane

March 8 – Possession of a controlled substance, 800 block of Union Street; shoplifting, 1800 block of W. Main street; shoplifting, 1800 block of W. Main Street

March 9 – Robbery, 100 block of Electric Road

March 10 – Property damage, 900 block of S. Market Street; grand larceny, 200 block of Fort Lewis Boulevard

March 13– Shoplifting, 1400 block of Apperson Drive
