Rails will play four games at Kiwanis this weekend

The Roanoke Rails of the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League will play back-to-back doubleheaders against the Kernersville Bulldogs this weekend.

Roanoke will host the Bulldogs for two on Saturday, with the first game beginning at 1 pm, and again on Sunday for two, also starting at 1 pm.

The Rails fell to 6-18 when they dropped a doubleheader at Kiwanis Field on Monday of this week. Roanoke lost two games to the Catawba Valley Stars, 6-0 and 6-1.

The CVCL tournament will be held August 2-5 on Mando Field at Rich Park in Mocksville, NC.
