Five Roanoke College basketball players have been recognized with the release of the of the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams.
Seniors Patrick Clevenger and Porter Stanley were recognized from the men’s team. Clevenger is a communications and sports management major from Troutville, VA and Porter is a business major from Columbia, S.C.
For the women, juniors Ashley Fowler and Abigail Rice were selected for the second consecutive year, while sophomore Paige Breuer joined the pair in her first year of eligibility for the honor.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and have competed in 90 percent or started 66 percent of their institution’s games.
