Tyler Galloway and Nate Prince of the Roanoke College baseball team have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

To qualify, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, have sophomore standing, and must compete in 90 percent of the team’s games played or must start in at least 66 percent of games. Galloway, a computer science major, and Prince, a health and exercise science major, combined to post an average GPA of 3.71.

Galloway appeared in 36 games, 34 of which were starts for the Maroons this season. He hit .317 and was third on the squad in hits with 45, which included a team leading 13 doubles. Prince started in 36 of his 39 games played, hitting for a .320 average. The junior heated up in ODAC play for Roanoke, hitting .410 and posting a 1.003 OPS against conference foes. Prince was also second on the team in runs and third in walks with 35 and 20 respectively.
