The Roanoke College golfers battled the wind and rain as well as Southern Virginia in a dual match last Thursday afternoon. The Maroons, who came into the match ranked 14th in the Region in the most recent GolfStat rankings, posted a 308 in the 18-hole event.
Justin Grenier and Michael Donnelly led the Maroons with five over par 75’s. After a slow start, Will Clary would post an even par 36 on the back nine to card a 77. Senior Evan Diebus finished the afternoon with a six over 78 while freshman Will Abdi made it five Maroons in the 70’s with a seven over 79.
