Paige Breuer adds two more accolades to her resume as she picked up Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-State honors.
The freshman adds the pair of awards to her ODAC and d3hoops.com All-Region Rookie of the Year nods as well as her Second Team All-ODAC honor.
The Bismarck, North Dakota native topped the Maroons in scoring, averaging 13.0 points per game to put her sixth in the conference. Breuer also led the ODAC and was third in the country in free-throw percentage at 90.1%.
Breuer is just the second ODAC Rookie of the Year in program history and is the first player to earn the major award and all-conference honors in the same season. The point guard was also the only player to be named to an all-ODAC team this past season. Additionally, Breuer became the first Roanoke player to earn All-Region Rookie of the Year.
