Reported Arrests – March 30th, 2017

The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between March 21-27.

Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of juveniles under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

March 21 – Anthony J. Zook, 23, obtaining money/goods by false pretense, uttering, passing counterfeit currency

March 22 – Samantha A. Casto, 32, contempt of court; Burrell E. Reed, 61, domestic assault and battery; Michael S. Johnson, 18, shoplifting; Marcus C. McCue, 63, public intoxication; Daniel A. Lilly, 44, criminal trespassing

March 23 – Brandon T. Fox, 25, possession of marijuana; Erika S. Coleman, 23, shoplifting; Kestrel Thorne-Kaunels, 19, possession of marijuana; Dylan S. Childress, 23, obscene communication, four charges of telephone harassment; Conor J. Martin, 21, possession of marijuana; Olivia M. Karkenny, 20, possession of marijuana; Stuart L. Adkins Jr., 47, assault and battery

March 24 – Caleb W. Richmond, 22, possession of marijuana; John M. Sheely, 46, two charges of violation of a protective order; Larry D. Hedrick Jr., 45, violation of probation; Samantha A. Casto, 32, failure to appear

March 25 – Crystal R. Murray, 42, contributing to the delinquency of a minor; Michael J. O’Brian, 26, driving under the influence; Alexander T. Tainer, 21, driving under the influence; Timothy D. Hamlin, 27, public intoxication

March 26 – Charles A. Updike, 51, violation of a protective order; Daniel L. Casto, 35, neglect; Richard L. McMillan, 49, public intoxication; Augustin H. Rodriguez, 29, possession of a controlled substance; Christopher B. Suttles, 34, domestic assault, obstructing a 911 communication; Kevin R. Mulik, 53, domestic assault and battery; James C. McGuire, 26, driving under the influence

March 27 – Francis B. Robertson IV, 48, public intoxication

 

Also reported were the following felonies:

March 21 – Grand larceny, 1400 block of E. Main Street; grand larceny, 800 block of Virginia Avenue; grand larceny, 100 block of Bowman Avenue

March 24 – Neglect, 400 block of Craig Avenue

March 26 – Grand larceny, 800 block of Honeysuckle Road; grand larceny, 2000 block of Roanoke Boulevard

March 27 – Fraud, 800 block of Kerner Avenue; fraud, 1900 block of Braeburn Drive
