Rosae (Rose) Mills Bussey, 89 of Salem, Va., passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Rose was born on July 27, 1933 to the late Willie B. Mills and Pearl Cameron Mills.  Rosae enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and eating blue crabs.  She also enjoyed celebrating fellow Leos at their annual Leo Birthday Party.  Rosae began her career as a Legal Secretary at the former law offices of Eggleston & Glenn.  She retired after 25 years at the age of 70.  After her retirement, she obtained her Nursing Assistant Certification and continued to care for others for the next 5 years. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gerry and Kevin Reil; granddaughter, Sunshine Reil; great-grandchildren, Angelo Abelar, and Christian and Summer Otero; and special friends, Pat, and Jeff Dunn. A special thanks is extended to JCT Richfield Living for their care. All services will be held private by Rose’s family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.johnmoakey.com.
