Laila Poindexter, a fourth grader at Mason’s Cove Elementary School, finished first in the 5K run at last weekend’s 2025 Donut Run that was held at Salem’s Sherwood Park. Laila ran her race in a time of 25:54 and it was her second year in a row winning her age group. Glenvar freshman Zackary Davis won the overall race with a time of 17:32.
