The Salem-Roanoke County Chamber of Commerce recently announced they will be a simulcast host site for Leadercast Women 2020 – Ripple Effect.

Women across the region are invited to attend what Forbes calls a “leadership conference you don’t want to miss” at the Salem Civic Center on October 15, with options to attend virtually.

Team leaders, managers and other women desiring to put their best foot forward to prepare for the “next normal” should attend the conference to learn from six world changing leaders.

Revitalize your leadership toolkit with U.S. soccer legend Abby Wambach and her takeaways for harnessing your power as a leader and understanding the strength of your team.

Abby is a name synonymous with U.S. women’s soccer. She is a Women’s World Cup champion and two-time gold medalist. She’s the author of the bestsellers Forward: A Memoir and WOLFPACK, and also has a leadership training program—Wolfpack Endeavor—that is revolutionizing women’s development in the workplace.

Evaluate and revise your current leadership practices using Emmy-nominated digital marketing guru Randi Zuckerberg’s poignant ideas from her unique experiences in Silicon Valley.

The creator of Facebook Live, an Emmy-nominated tech media personality, entrepreneur, investor and best-selling author, Randi has leveraged technology to spread influence since the start of her career. She currently leads a production and marketing company that helps aspiring artists create and promote their work and hosts the weekly business talk radio show Dot Complicated.

Inspire, and be inspired, by entrepreneur Radha Agrawal’s blueprint for cultivating and nurturing leaders.

A community force, Radha’s early-morning dance and wellness movement hosts events in 25 cities and on the campus of more than a dozen colleges around the world, with nearly 500,000 attending. Her book, Belong: Find Your People, Create Community, and Live a More Connected Life, contains her key methods for community building and the success of Daybreaker events.

Apply powerful concepts that will pave the way for breakthrough performances in your organization from Paralympian Bonnie St. John.

Bonnie became the first African American ever to win medals in a Winter Olympic competition, taking home a silver and two bronze medals in downhill events at the 1984 Paralympics in Innsbruck, Austria. In addition to her success as a Paralympic athlete, she is a bestselling author, keynote speaker, television and radio personality, business owner, and Fortune 500 leadership consultant.

Master the “new normal” and any future business interruptions with the “next normal” mentality by Fast Company Editor-in-Chief Stephanie Mehta.

Spark innovation within your team by taking best-selling author Tiffany Dufu’s actionable advice on how to clarify and prioritize what matters most.

Named to Fast Company’s League of Extraordinary Women, Tiffany has raised nearly $20 million toward the cause of women and girls. She was a launch team member to Lean In and was Chief Leadership Officer to Levo, one of the fastest-growing millennial professional networks. Prior to that, Tiffany served as President of The White House Project, as a Major Gifts Officer at Simmons University, and as Associate Director of Development at Seattle Girls’ School.

Attendees are eligible to earn continuing education credits for SHRM, HRCI, CNEs and PDCs. Last year, Leadercast Women was broadcasted to 153 locations across the globe and reached nearly 25,000 people worldwide.  Following the event, which will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a “wine down” mingling event will take place until 5 p.m.
