
The Salem High girls lacrosse team is 4-1 as they prepare to travel to Lynchburg tonight for a big game against E.C. Glass. The girls are coming off a 15-2 win over Franklin County in Rocky Mount Monday.
“Great game,” said Salem coach Mary Schwartz of the win over the Eagles. “We’ve started to really settle into running the attack and being patient. I’m proud of how the girls performed.”
London Fralin led the Spartans with four goals against Franklin County. Riley McNeill had three goals, three assists and two draw controls while Ashlyn Davis caused four turnovers and had four ground balls. Bailey Redford had five saves in the goal for the Spartans.
After tonight the girls are back home to host Blacksburg on Monday.
