“Radio Ron” Myers has a signed a contract to have Salem High football games on our Fox Sports station. The Spartans will air on 910 AM and 104.3 FM and will be streamed around the word.
The Spartans had been on WRTZ, 1410 AM, in recent years but that station is currently off the air. The move to Fox Sports is definitely an upgrade. In the daytime they have Dan Patrick and Colin Cowherd and other nationally aired commentators, programs and sports events.
“Fans think we are finished but we’re back bigger and better,” said Myers. “Fox Sports is 1,000 watts plus we get FM. The Atlanta Braves use 910 AM but, damn, I bumped the Braves off with Salem football every Friday.”
