The Salem Spartans are the third seed in the south division of this week’s Region 4D volleyball tournament. The 10-team bracket is split into two divisions, with the south and north winners playing for the region championship. Salem was scheduled to play second seeded E.C.
Glass on Wednesday of this week. Results were too late for publication, the but the winner will play for the south championship on Monday at the highest remaining seed. Most likely that will top-seeded Jefferson Forest.
The region championship match will be next Monday, November 11, at a time and site to be determined. Salem came into the tournament with a 16-9 overall record
