The Salem Public Library will be holding its first Moon View program on June 26, 2018, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

If the weather does not cooperate, we will reschedule for June 27 and then June 28 if necessary. The evening will begin with members of the Roanoke Valley Astronomical Society sharing information about the moon. If you have a telescope bring it with you, if not we will have plenty of telescopes and high-powered binoculars specifically designed to observe the moon. This is a family event, so everyone is welcome! Sign-up today and reserve your spot for our first Moon View program. Please stop by the library at 28 East Main Street, Salem VA, and sign up at the front desk, or call us at 540-375-3089. If you would prefer to sign up via e-mail, you can email David Butler at dbutler@salemva.gov. Please refer to our Facebook page for any updates and changes to this program. Looking forward to seeing you here!
