The Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC) and Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) will host the next Veterans Town Hall and Listening Session at 2:00 p.m. on November 16, 2017, in the Salem VAMC’s Auditorium (Building 5). The event is scheduled to last for one hour.

Following the general information session, Vietnam Veterans who have not had the opportunity to receive their commemorative pin will be recognized and receive one.

This event is open to Veterans, family members, congressional stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, other community partners and the media. Parking at the Salem VAMC is free, but seating capacity is limited to 150.

Members of the Executive Leadership Team of Salem VAMC and VBA will be present, along with other key staff to provide updates on Salem’s status regarding access, scheduling, Choice Program, VBA benefits and other relevant issues. To protect individual privacy and confidentiality, patients may address their concerns with individual members of the Salem VAMC and VBA leadership following the information session.
