The Salem VA Medical Center will temporarily relocate several specialty clinics as facility enhancements begin in portions of Building 143.
Beginning Aug. 10, the Cardiology, Rheumatology, Neurology and Infectious Disease clinics will move to the second floor of Building 7 while renovation work is underway.
The locations of all other clinics at the medical center will remain unchanged.
Medical center staff stationed at the main entrance and throughout the campus will assist veterans, family members and caregivers in finding the temporary clinic locations. Signs directing patients to the relocated clinics will also be posted throughout the facility.
Valet parking services and wheelchairs for veterans will continue to be available at the medical center’s main entrance. Veterans needing directions or wheelchair assistance to Building 7 are asked to use the main entrance.
