The Salem High cross country team will be competing in the Cougar Classic on Saturday in Pulaski.
Salem competed in a meet with Lord Botetourt last week at the Greenfield Complex in Botetourt County. The Salem girls team only sent jayvee runners and the boys lost to LB. Aiden Sable was the fastest Spartan.
Both Salem and Glenvar were scheduled to run in the Galax Invitational on Wednesday, but results were too late for publication.
