Roanoke County– Roanoke County welcomes back Food Truck Thursdays this fall. The highly anticipated event returns with its fall edition, promising a fusion of flavors and cuisines at not one, but three rotating parks: Green Hill Park, Walrond Park and Merriman Soccer Complex.

Scheduled to kick off on Aug. 29 at Walrond Park, attendees can expect a wide range of food options, from Jamaican Jerk style chicken and cultural dishes to sweet treats and delicious ice cream.

In addition to food, attendees can take in the peaceful surrounding of these scenic parks. While seating will be available, feel free to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the park your way.

The two Green Hill Park dates include:

  • Sept. 26 – Green Hill Park
  • Nov. 7 – Green Hill Park

This culinary event is presented by Roanoke County’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. Visit www.RoanokeCountyParks.com for more details.
