The pickleball courts at Oakey Field were rededicated on Monday morning as a host of Salem celebrities joined the ceremony. The courts were closed on March 10 for extensive work and are now open for play.
The complete court renovation includes six brand new courts. In addition to the new surface the courts now have new nets, fencing, windscreens and a shade structure has been added. G&H Contracting was the general contractor for the work.
