Arnold Edmond Sloan, 90, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lillian Boggess Sloan; brother, Calvin Sloan; and sister, Sadie Sloan Reid.
Survivors include his sister, Mildred Sloan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Agnes Sloan, Wayne and Sheila Sloan, Irvin and Barbara Sloan, and Herbert Sloan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering was held Saturday, June 3, from 5-7 p.m. in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home. Funeral services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Botetourt Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1145, Buchanan, 24066 to help on funeral expenses.
