The James I. Moyer Complex will be the site for the annual Salem Invitational Softball Tournament on Saturday. There will be varsity and jayvee games with 11 different schools participating.
Action begins at 9 am Saturday and games are scheduled all day with the final games starting at 5 pm. In addition to host Salem the invitational will include Auburn, Eastern Montgomery, Radford, Northside, Western Albemarle, Magna Vista, Pulaski County, Halifax County, Amherst and Jefferson Forest.
Salem’s varsity team will play Radford at 11 am and Magna Vista at 3 pm, both on Moyer Field 3. The Spartan jayvees will play Auburn at 9 am on Field 2.
