Two Salem High players have been named to the Virginia High School League Class 4 All-State baseball second team. Junior Mason Hale was selected in the outfield. Senior Trace Monroe was named second team at pitcher. Monroe is a VMI commit. The state Player of the Year is junior outfielder Barrett Bucholz of Atlee High School and the state Coach of the Year is Nolan Potts of Heritage of Leesburg.
