Rising Salem High sophomores Caitlin Wells(left) and Cora Grace Sparger are members of the Hanover Hornets softball team, coached by Salem’s Jeremy Wells, that won the USA Softball Gate City Showcase tournament in June. The Hornets won the 14U bracket at Carolyn Allen Park in Greensboro, NC.
