Deidre Hall is a community educator with the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services Center, Inc., where she helps individuals and families navigate hearing loss through outreach, training, and access to communication tools. She specializes in connecting people with practical resources that support independence, safety, and confidence in daily life.
During this session, Deidre will cover:
• Available Support Services – Overview of statewide and local programs, including hearing aid financial assistance programs, interpreter resources, ASL classes, and other community support.
• Assistive Technology Options – Tools that can make life easier—from captioned phones, amplified phones and visual alert systems for doorbells and other household alerts.
• Where to Find Help – Guidance on connecting with DHHSC services, referrals, and additional resources for individuals and caregivers.
