Roanoke College junior midfielder IV Stucker has been named a Preseason First-Team All-American by Inside Lacrosse and was one of four Maroons to earn preseason All-American honors in the 2017 Face-Off Yearbook.

Midfielder Kevin Jackson and defenseman Robby Moore were named to the third-team, while long-stick midfielder Conn Curry was an honorable mention choice.

Last season, Stucker was an Second-Team All-American choice by the USILA. He was named First-Team All-ODAC following a sophomore campaign in which he finished 10th in the ODAC with 52 points. He scored 39 goals which was 10th best in the ODAC, while his 17 assists ranked 15th.

In 2016, Jackson garnered his second straight All-American honor. He also snagged his second straight First-Team All-ODAC honor and his third all-league laurel overall. He closed out his junior year with 45 points which ranked him 14th in the ODAC. His 29 goals and his 16 assists ranked in the top-20 in the league.

Curry followed up his ODAC Rookie of the Year award in 2015 with a first-team all-league nod and an Honorable Mention All-American selection in 2016. Curry was fifth in the ODAC with 27 caused turnovers and he racked up 45 ground balls on the season and had two goals and an assist.

An Honorable Mention All-American selection a season ago, Moore caused 15 turnovers which was 19th best in the ODAC and snared 42 groundballs during the season. Curry and Moore helped RC to an 8.94 goals against average as team which was third best in the league. RC keepers also posted a 56.8 save percentage behind the duo which was second highest in the ODAC.

In 2016, this quartet and the Maroons extended their school record with their eighth consecutive season with 10 or more wins, finishing with 13 victories. Four of those victories were against NCAA Tournament teams, and the Maroons finished atop the ODAC regular season standings for the 23rd time since 1981.
