April is poetry month and the Salem Public Library is hosting a poetry contest! To participate, write your own poem and submit a copy to the Salem Public Library from April 17 – April 28. Please limit your poems to 500 words. Our staff board will choose one winning poem from each age group (grades 5-8 and 9-12) anonymously. Each winner will receive a Blue Ribbon and will be featured on our website. Please include your name, grade, phone number and email address when submitting your poem.
