More than 4,500 people attended Roanoke County’s Touch-A-Truck event Aug. 9 at Green Hill Park, where “kids of all ages experienced more than 90 vehicles including police cars, emergency vehicles, dump trucks, tow trucks and tractor trailers,” said Alex North, marketing and administrative coordinator for Roanoke County Parks, Recreation & Tourism.
