The Salem Choral Society, under the direction of S. Reed Carter IV, is proud to present “Let Freedom Ring”.

This musical celebration of our country’s founding will be held on Sunday, July 1, at 4:00 p.m. in Shiloh Baptist Church on Market Street, Salem VA. Admission is free, donations will be accepted and childcare will be provided.

Among the songs being performed will be fresh arrangements by Mary McDonald of “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee” and “America”, a stirring rendition of “Eternal Father, Strong to Save”, and some spirited versions of George M. Cohen melodies. Also will be included is the perennial favorite “Salute to the Armed Forces” and several other popular, patriotic songs to give a rousing kick-start to your holiday.

This will be an enjoyable concert for all. Mark your calendars and join the Salem Choral Society for an afternoon of inspiring music.
