the Lewis football team attended the VMI game against Samford last Saturday in Lexington. Here Wolverines meet former Salem players now at VMI after the game. In the front row, left to right, are Austin Coulling(#10), Isaish Parker(#19) and Tyler Fedison(#45). Next to Fedison is Lewis coach Brian Hooker, and the Keydet next to him is former Spartan Blake Moushegian. In the second row is Alex Ramsey(#36), who has his arm around Nick Owen, and on the other side of Nick is former Spartan Cody Peregoy, who is injured and did not suit up for the game.

The Andrew Lewis Middle School eighth grade football team will try to complete a perfect season today when the Wolverines meet Patrick Henry at Merrill Gainer Stadium in Roanoke. Game time is 5:30 pm.

The Wolverines are 10-0 after knocking Blacksburg from the ranks of the unbeaten last week. Lewis trailed early but battled back for a 20-6 win over the previously unbeaten Bruins at Salem Stadium.

Lewis touchdowns were scored by Chauncey Logan Jr., Cam Leftwich and Jeffrey Phillips. The Titans scored on their first drive but the Wolverines scored the next 20 points.

The team played outstanding defense, led Stacy Williams, Cam Martindale, Reggie Brown, Jake Massey, Addison Wolfe, Carson Williams, Owyn Dawyot, Cam Leftwich, Hunter Bayne, Chauncey Logan Jr.,Tanner Dallas, and Jeffrey Phillips.
