The Glenvar soccer teams will play back-to-back games against tough Three Rivers District opponents this week. The Highlanders will play host to Radford on Thursday night, then play at James River on Friday.

The girls played host to Floyd last Friday and took an 8-0 win over the visiting Buffaloes. Kyleigh Drew had three goals to lead the Highlanders while Kira Pierce and Jessica Lucas had two each. Meghan Thompson, a sophomore, scored the eighth goal to end the game by slaughter rule.
The girls also played at Giles last week and lost 4-2. Pierce and Lucas had goals for the Highlanders.
The girls are now 6-5-1.
