Salem High’s Jackson Jones(white jersey) dodges a Jefferson Forest defender in Salem’s 14-7 home opening lacrosse win over the Cavaliers on Tuesday at Spartan Field. Jones had six goals and four assists in the win as Salem gave Jefferson Forest their first loss. With the win the Spartans evened their record at 1-1 and they’ll be back in action tonight with a 5 pm game at North Cross. The Salem High girls lacrosse team will also play tonight, meeting Jefferson Forest in Forest at 6:30 pm.
