The Salem High lacrosse teams took on Patrick Henry in the past week and split. The boys won at PH last Friday and the girls fell to the Patriots on Monday at Spartan Field.

The girls played on a much nicer night on Monday but fell to PH, 6-4. Salem went out to a 3-1 lead in the first quarter but PH tied it up at 3-3 by the half and outscored Salem 3-1 in the second half.
Bailey Redford had 11 saves in the goal for Salem. Ann Thomas had a goal and two assists as the girls fell to 2-3.
The girls and boys will host Christiansburg in a varsity doubleheader tonight. The girls will start at 5:30 pm with the boys to follow.
