Robert Gregory Jackson, 63, of Salem, Va., passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025, to be with his Lord.

Born in Roanoke, Va., on August 28, 1961, Robert was a loving husband, father, pawpaw, cherished family member, and a man of enduring faith.

A life of love and devotion, Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Graham Cummings Jackson and Joyce Ann Robertson Jackson.

Left to hold his memory close is his devoted wife, Jerri Bradshaw Jackson, who stood by him through life’s joys and challenges. His legacy shines through his beloved sons, Cody Dooley and wife, Dominique, and Dylan Snead and wife, Bailey; and his treasured grandchildren, Layla Dooley, Jacklyn Dooley, Leo Snead, Owen Snead, Kiera Williams, Dagan Williams, and Gavin Williams. Robert is also survived by his brothers, Ricky Jackson and Jeff Jackson; as well as many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish the time they shared with him.

All were invited to celebrate Robert’s life on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Emmanuel Wesleyan Church located at 402 Hershberger Road NW in Roanoke, Va. Visitation began at 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. officiated by Pastors Matt Reynolds and Luis Martinez. Friends and family were warmly invited to join for a meal after the service and to share their favorite “Robert story” as a heartfelt tribute to his remarkable life.

A lasting legacy, Robert will always be remembered for his love of missions, his unfailing kindness, his deep devotion to family, and his unwavering faith. He left a lasting impression on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him, and his memory will continue to inspire and comfort those he loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Impacto Ministry (https://impactoministry.com/donate-aleluya) in loving memory of Robert. Robert Gregory Jackson’s life was a testament to love, faith, and generosity. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
