The Roanoke College men’s volleyball team split their tri-match on Saturday, taking an ODAC victory over Eastern Mennonite before falling to Marymount in Harrisonburg, VA.

Roanoke defeated EMU in the opener, 3-1, to improve their ODAC conference record to 7-1 on the season. Pierce Faulcon had a career high 19 kills to pace RC in the match. Faulcon was followed up by Jackson Rutkowski and Michael Cummins who had 16 and 12 kills respectively.

The Maroons lost their non-conference match to Marymount, 3-1. Faulcon and Cummins each had 10 kills to lead Roanoke.

The split put the Maroons at 13-5 overall. They were scheduled to host Averett in a conference match on Tuesday, then head to Virginia Beach for three this weekend. Roanoke will play Regent University on Thursday and on Saturday they have an ODAC match with Virginia Wesleyan at 1 pm followed by a non-conference match with Southern Virginia University at 3 pm.
