The USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, MD will be the site of a women’s lacrosse game between Roanoke College and Gettysburg this Saturday. The first draw is at 7 pm between the Maroons and Bullets, who are sixth ranked in the nation in Division III.

The Maroons got back in the win column last Thursday as they lifted their record to 2-3 with a spring break win over Susquehanna University in Clearwater, Florida. Roanoke dominated the second half for a 16-10 victory.

The first half was a tight matchup as both sides went on multiple runs, bringing it to 8-8 at the break. RC took control in the third quarter, outscoring Susquehanna 6-0. The Maroons then held SU to just two goals in the fourth to grab the win.

Maddie McDonald led the charge with five goals and two assists for seven points. Sarah Brisson tallied a hat trick of goals and an assist for four points while Zoe Blair and Addison Widmer had two goals each. Blair surpassed 100 career points with an assist in the second half.
