The Glenvar girls tennis team improved to 2-1 with a 9-0 win over Martinsville last week.
Singles wins against the Bulldogs came from Riley Price, Rebecca Magruder, Karis Gillespie, Julia Carroll, Priya Patel and Lucy Bolling. Doubles victories came from Price and Gillespie, Magruder and Rayah Kelley, and Jones and Emma Peters.
A Monday match with Carroll County was postponed. The girls will host James River today after hosting Northside in a non-district match Wednesday.
The Glenvar boys were scheduled to play at Northside Wednesday. The boys defeated Martinsville and Carroll in the past week.
