AL boys track is undefeated

The Andrew Lewis track teams traveled to Pulaski County Middle School and scored big wins over six teams last week, including host Pulaski, George Wythe, Giles, Rural Retreat, Galax and Fort Chiswell.

The girls were led by double winner Madelyn Eversole who remained undefeated in the 1600 meters as well as winning the 800 meters. Brynn Clewis remained undefeated in the 400 meter dash, while Liv Lam won the 300 meter hurdles. The 400 meter relay team of Lam, Carma Mitchen, Olivia Owens, and Lilliana Dean had a big win, as did the 1600 meter relay team of Clewis, Eversole, Alice Carr, and Jo’Hanna Nugent.

The boys’ team remained undefeated and were led by triple winner Zyere Richardson who the triple jump and both hurdle races. Jayden White was a double winner taking the 100 and the 400 meter races.

The 3200 meter relay team of Brody Malloy, Owen Jenkins, Parker Garst, and Declan Painter got the afternoon started with a win while the team of Ian Rosier, LaMickeal Stacy, Liam Park and Andrew Hall kept the 400 meter relay undefeated.

The Wolverines were scheduled to return to action on April 22nd at Salem High School.
