The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged July 24-30. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.
Those arrested and their charges were listed as:
July 24 – Robert K. Smith II, 45, domestic assault and battery; Karen R. Barton, 46, contempt of court; Angel S. Lingenfelter, 32, domestic assault and battery; and Gabrielle N. Thacker, 25, petit larceny
July 25 – Michael D. Mathena, 55, interdicted person; and Tracey A. Stores, 26, threatening-brandishing
July 26 – Sarah E. Reed, 28, possession of a controlled substance and grand larceny; Joseph L. Clifton, 23, domestic assault and battery; Stephen R. Straub, 31, public intoxication; Wilbor C. Gonzales, 22, possession of marijuana; Jose A. Manzanares, 45, violation of protective order; and Ty. C Sexton, 33, violation of probation
July 28 – Daniel J. Hartberger, 38, public intoxication; Christina L. Philben, 35, public intoxication and disorderly conduct; Austin K. Roberts, 24, shoplifting; Zachary S. Thurlow, 29, shoplifting; and Derrell O. Coleman, 25, vehicle theft
July 29 – Brenda A. Jodoin, 53, public intoxication and interdicted person; Gary W. Cheatwood Jr., 25, DUI; Matthew A. Owens, 38, public intoxication; and Mary A. Geres, 61, domestic assault and battery
July 30 – Lance A. Leighton, 32, public intoxication; and Troy L. Foutz, 20, contempt of court.
