Wendy H. Davis, 56, of Portsmouth, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. A devoted mother, daughter, and friend, Wendy’s radiant spirit and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Born with an innate ability to bring joy to those around her, Wendy was a beacon of love and support for her family and friends. Her two sons, Kyle and Ryan Horne, were the pride and joy of her life, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to nurturing and guiding them. Wendy’s unwavering love and encouragement will forever resonate in their hearts.

Wendy’s warmth and compassion extended beyond her family; she had a unique gift for making everyone feel special and valued. Her laughter, infectious smile, and generous spirit created lasting bonds and unforgettable memories. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Wendy’s life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 3 PM at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, allowing all who loved Wendy to come together in remembrance and support.

In this time of sorrow, let us honor Wendy’s legacy by cherishing the love she shared and the lives she touched. Arrangements are being handled by Simpson Funeral Home, and condolences can be directed to (540) 366-0707.

Rest in peace, dear Wendy. Your love will forever remain in our hearts.
