The Glenvar girls put back-to-back shutouts together against two Three Rivers District soccer teams in the past week. Glenvar beat Floyd last week, 10-0, and Radford on Tuesday, 2-0.

Everyone got in the game against Floyd last week as the Highlanders dominated play. Faren Wilson had three goals and two assists to lead the Highlanders. Jordin Crouch and Campbell Hardin had two goals each and also scoring were Giuliana Stanley, Davin Tate and Bryn Duff. Megan Pomerleau had two assists.

On Tuesday at home it wasn’t as easy but the girls pulled out a win over a scrappy Radford team. Rhyan Harris and Stanley had the goals for the Highlanders as they improved to 8-2 on the season.

Glenvar is at Carroll County today for a district game.
