Easton Quesenberry camps under a foul pop for the Highlanders.

The Glenvar baseball team shut out James River, 10-0, in Buchanan Tuesday to win their fourth game in a row and improve to 12-5 on the season.

Cam Feazell threw goose eggs at the Knights, fanning five and allowing just two hits. Jack Osburn had two hits for the Highlanders while Feazell and Evan Johnson had two RBIs each.

Last Friday the Highlanders got a big win at home when they defeated Carroll County, 3-1. Glenvar also got good starting pitching in this one as Cale Vaughan pitched a complete game, fanning six and allowing just five hits against a good hitting Carroll County team.

The Highlanders broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the bottom of the third, all with two outs. John Deel, Feazell, Johnson and Vaughan had consecutive singles to give the Highlanders the lead. Vaughan did the rest, and benefited from a double play in the top of the seventh that killed a potential Cavalier rally.

The Highlanders are back in action Friday with a home game against Radford.
